After the events of season 5, the Trix are back in the Infinite Ocean, looking to use the Emperor’s Throne to become more powerful. Politea, the nymph who was presumed to be destroyed, instructs them that the Throne answers only to Tritannus since he became the Emperor. She is currently bound to the Throne, so she helps the Trix in order to gain her freedom. Together, they decide to look for the Pearl of the Deep which keeps the Infinite Ocean pure and balanced. The one who gets it becomes the most powerful in the entire Magic Dimension. Unfortunately, only the Emperor can find it. Because of that, they decide to free Tritannus from Oblivion. To do that, they need the vital force of a young ruler. That’s why they kidnap Sky.
When Tritannus comes back to the Infinite Ocean, he seals off all its portals so no one can go in or out. All, but one. In order to save Sky, the Winx have to get to him through the dimension of Oblivion. The prison dimension aims to erase all the memories of their past and their true selves with its illusions and makes them fall asleep. Bloom is the first to beat it and wake up. She frees Stella and together they free the rest of their friends. With the power of convergence, they escape the dimension and enter the Infinite Ocean.
The Winx find Sky trapped inside the Emperor’s Throne but are unable to free him because his prison is connected to his life force. If they destroy it, they could doom Sky as well. Since Tritannus is gone, Politea shows herself. She summons an army of mutants to attack the Winx. The fairies try to fight them but are outnumbered. They attack Politea directly, but she is too powerful for their attempts to be effective. Sky tells them to find the nymph Omnia because she can help them.
However, Tritannus has already found her. Since Omnia was the one who hid the Pearl of the Deep, he forces her to tell him about its location. She initially refuses but agrees after he threatens to destroy the selkies. When the Winx find her, she tells them that humans allowed Politea to return by polluting the oceans and that she wants to rule the entire Magic Dimension.
Omnea tells the Winx where she hid the Pearl and the selkies lead them there. Once they arrive at the reef that holds the Pearl, Tritannus traps them there forever and grabs it. Contrary to his plans, Musa and Tecna discover a secret passage and Flora enables them all to swim through it.
At the Emperor’s Throne, Politea double-crosses the Trix and Tritannus by stealing the Pearl and making them her slaves. The Winx have to go through them and Polita’s mutants. She starts polluting all the oceans of the Magic Dimension with petroleum. She is too strong for direct attacks, but Bloom and Sky use her power against her by making her accidentally break the Throne. Sky quickly swims out of his prison and uses Tritannus’s trident to knock the Pearl out of her hand. Since the Throne was destroyed, he faints after that.
Bloom takes the Pearl and the other Winx help her use it. They converge their powers and focus them on it. By doing so, they defeat Politea and undo all the pollution she caused. The Trix manage to escape and Tritannus gets sent back to Oblivion. Omnia also uses the Pearl to save Sky.
